00 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 197(FIN) 01 "An Act recognizing the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation as the authorizing agency 02 to approve home energy rating systems for the state; and providing for an effective 03 date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. AS 18.56.010 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 06 (h) The legislature finds that recognizing the Alaska Housing Finance 07 Corporation as the state's home energy rating system authorizing agency serves a 08 public purpose in benefitting the people of the state. The Alaska Housing Finance 09 Corporation shall act as the authorizing agency for purposes of approving home 10 energy rating systems used in the state. 11 * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2011.
