01 "An Act relating to procedures accompanying conveyance of state land to a                                               
02 municipality."                                                                                                          
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 29.65.070 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
05            (e)  If land selected by a municipality is occupied by a person or entity whose                              
06       presence on that land is authorized by the state, the municipality shall, promptly after                          
07       approval of a selection by the director and before patent is made to the municipality,                            
08       provide to the person or entity occupying the land written notice of the conveyance.                              
09       The notice must include a description of                                                                          
10                 (1)  the boundaries of the selection and any stipulations, conditions, or                               
11       covenants agreed to by the municipality; or                                                                       
12                 (2)  the location at which the municipality has made the information in                                 
13       (1) of this subsection available to the public.
