00                  SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 18                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning House Bill No. 101, exempting the full value of life insurance                                  
03 and annuity contracts from levy to satisfy a debt, and amending the description of                                      
04 earnings, income, cash, and other assets relating to garnishment of life insurance                                      
05 proceeds payable upon the death of an insured.                                                                          
06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
07       That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                              
08 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding                             
09 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House Bill No. 101, exempting                         
10 the full value of life insurance and annuity contracts from levy to satisfy a debt, and amending                        
11 the description of earnings, income, cash, and other assets relating to garnishment of life                             
12 insurance proceeds payable upon the death of an insured.
