AS 39.35.340 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 05 (j) Notwithstanding (d) of this section, a peace officer may use the credited 06 service granted under this section to satisfy the credited service requirements to 07 become eligible for retiree medical benefits under AS 39.35.535.
