01 "An Act increasing the compensation of members of the Alaska Public Offices                                             
02 Commission; and providing for an effective date."                                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 15.13.020(f) is amended to read:                                                                   
05            (f)  Members of the commission shall receive compensation of $150 [$50] a                                
06       day while attending commission meetings and shall be entitled to travel expenses and                              
07       per diem authorized by law for members of other boards and commissions.                                           
08    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect January 1, 2009.
