00 HOUSE BILL NO. 353 01 "An Act amending the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act to permit limited state- 02 sponsored travel by the spouse or children of the governor or the lieutenant governor." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 39.52.120 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 05 (g) Notwithstanding (a) and (b)(1) - (5) of this section, the use of state 06 resources to transport or pay the cost of transporting the spouse or child of the 07 governor or lieutenant governor to or from an event other than an event that has a 08 partisan political purpose is permitted only if 09 (1) the spouse or child is transported with the governor or lieutenant 10 governor; and 11 (2) the state is reimbursed for the actual cost or, if the actual cost is not 12 reasonably calculable or the transportation is on a state aircraft, the fair market value 13 of the transportation of the spouse or child.
