00                   SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 8                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning House Bill No. 67, relating to a mandatory exemption from                                       
03 municipal property taxes for certain college property, to a mandatory exemption from                                    
04 municipal property taxes for residences of certain widows or widowers, and to optional                                  
05 exemptions from municipal property taxes for property of certain fraternal                                              
06 organizations and for certain residences of law enforcement officers.                                                   
07 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
08       That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                              
09 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding                             
10 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House Bill No. 67, relating to a                      
11 mandatory exemption from municipal property taxes for certain college property, to a                                    
12 mandatory exemption from municipal property taxes for residences of certain widows or                                   
13 widowers, and to optional exemptions from municipal property taxes for property of certain                              
14 fraternal organizations and for certain residences of law enforcement officers.
