01 * Sec. 4. DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE. (a) The unexpended and unobligated balance on 02 June 30, 2008, of the appropriation to the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation made in 03 sec. 14, ch. 13, SLA 2006, is reappropriated to the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act 04 reimbursement fund (AS 43.90.400(a)) for the natural gas pipeline project construction 05 inducement under AS 43.90.110(a)(1). 06 (b) The interest earned through June 30, 2008 on the appropriation to the Alaska 07 Housing Finance Corporation made in sec. 14, ch. 13, SLA 2006, is appropriated to the 08 Alaska Gasline Inducement Act reimbursement fund (AS 43.90.400(a)) for the natural gas 09 pipeline project construction inducement under AS 43.90.110(a)(1). 10 (c) An amount not to exceed the difference between the amounts reappropriated in (a) 11 of this section and appropriated in (b) of this section, and $500,000,000, is appropriated from 12 the general fund to the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act reimbursement fund 13 (AS 43.90.400(a)) for the natural gas pipeline project construction inducement under 14 AS 43.90.110(a)(1). The amount appropriated by this subsection is anticipated to be 15 approximately $164,000,000. 16 * Sec. 5. NONLAPSE OF APPROPRIATIONS. The appropriations made by sec. 4 of this 17 Act are for the capitalization of a fund and do not lapse. 18 * Sec. 6. RETROACTIVITY. Sections 4(a) and 4(b) of this Act are retroactive to June 30, 19 2008. 20 * Sec. 7. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
