01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Alaska regional economic assistance                                       
02 program; and providing for an effective date."                                                                          
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  Section 2, ch. 43, SLA 2000, as amended by sec. 1, ch. 110, SLA 2003, and                            
05 sec. 1, ch. 51, SLA 2005, is amended to read:                                                                           
06            Sec. 2. AS 44.33.895 is repealed July 1, 2013 [2008].                                                    
07    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
08 read:                                                                                                                   
09       RETROACTIVITY. If this Act takes effect on or after July 1, 2008, it is retroactive to                            
10 July 1, 2008.                                                                                                           
11    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
