01 "An Act prohibiting a health care insurer who provides health care insurance coverage                                   
02 of a child through family health care insurance from denying enrollment and from                                        
03 disenrolling or eliminating coverage for a dependent child of the insured who is less than                              
04 26 years of age."                                                                                                       
05 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
06    * Section 1. AS 21.42.345 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
07            (e)  A health care insurer who provides health care insurance coverage of a                                  
08       child through family health care insurance may not deny enrollment and may not                                    
09       disenroll or eliminate coverage for a dependent child of the insured who is less than 26                          
10       years of age.
