01 "An Act relating to the crime victim compensation fund."                                                                
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 18.67.162 is amended to read:                                                                      
04            Sec. 18.67.162. Crime victim compensation fund. There is created a crime                                   
05       victim compensation fund, which shall be administered by the board. The fund                                  
06       consists of money appropriated to it by the legislature, which may include donations,                         
07       recoveries of or reimbursements for awards made from the fund, income from                                    
08       the fund, and other program receipts from activities under this chapter.                                      
09       Appropriations to the fund do not lapse. The fund shall be administered in                                    
10       accordance with the provisions of this chapter. Money distributed from the fund shall                             
11       be in addition to other sources of compensation provided in this chapter.                                         
12    * Sec. 2. AS 37.05.146(c) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                            
13                 (83)  crime victim compensation fund (AS 18.67.162).
