01 "An Act making a special appropriation for a study regarding a Susitna hydroelectric                                    
02 project; and providing for an effective date."                                                                          
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. The sum of $1,000,000 is appropriated from the Railbelt energy fund                                   
05 (AS 37.05.520) to the Alaska Energy Authority to perform a collaborative study with the                                 
06 Railbelt electric utilities of a Susitna hydroelectric project appropriately sized for the Railbelt.                    
07    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
