01 "An Act relating to an aggravating factor at sentencing for crimes committed at, or                                     
02 affecting persons or property at, certain shelters and facilities."                                                     
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 12.55.155(c) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                         
05                 (34)  the defendant committed the offense on, or to affect persons or                                   
06       property on, the premises of a recognized shelter or facility providing services to                               
07       victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.                                                                   
08    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
09 read:                                                                                                                   
10       APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to offenses committed on or after the effective                                   
11 date of this Act.
