01 "An Act relating to charter school funding."                                                                            
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 14.17.905(b) is amended to read:                                                                   
04            (b)  Notwithstanding (a)(3) of this section, a charter school shall be counted as                            
05       a separate school if the charter school has an ADM of at least 100 [150] students,                        
06       except that, in the first two years after a charter school is approved by the                                 
07       department, a charter school shall be counted as a separate school even if it has                             
08       an ADM of fewer than 100 students.
