01 "An Act relating to intensive services education funding."                                                              
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 14.17.420 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
04            (d)  If a student who is counted for intensive services funding that has been                                
05       received by a district under (a)(2) of this section transfers to another district in the                          
06       state, the transferring district shall pay, within 30 days after the transfer, the                                
07       unexpended portion of the intensive services funding received for the student to the                              
08       new district. The transferring district's payment must be based on a pro rata share of                            
09       the amount received for the period in which the student attends school in the district.
