01 "An Act relating to underage possession of alcoholic beverages in a dwelling."                                          
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 04.16 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
04            Sec. 04.16.057. Permitting minor to illegally possess liquor in dwelling. (a)                              
05       Except as provided by AS 04.16.051, a person who is physically in possession and                                  
06       exercising dominion and control over a dwelling may not knowingly permit a person                                 
07       under 21 years of age to possess an alcoholic beverage in the dwelling.                                           
08            (b)  A person who violates this section is guilty of a violation and shall be                                
09       punished as provided in AS 12.55.
