01 "An Act prohibiting state general fund revenue received during a fiscal year from being                                 
02 used as a funding source for that same fiscal year in the Executive Budget Act; and                                     
03 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  AS 37.07 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                 
06            Sec. 37.07.065. Prohibition on general fund revenue uses. The state general                                
07       fund revenue received during a fiscal year may not be used as a funding source for that                           
08       same fiscal year.  This section does not apply to federal funds received by the state.                            
09    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
10 read:                                                                                                                   
11       APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to appropriations from the general fund made for                                  
12 state fiscal year 2007.                                                                                                 
13    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
