00 SENATE BILL NO. 260 01 "An Act extending the date by which the Task Force on Workers' Compensation shall 02 report its findings and the termination date of that task force; and providing for an 03 effective date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska enacted in sec. 77(d), ch. 10, FSSLA 06 2005, is amended to read: 07 (d) The task force established under (a) of this section 08 (1) may begin work immediately upon the appointment of its full 09 voting membership and shall meet at least three times telephonically or in person; 10 (2) shall hold public hearings and may perform research related to its 11 work; 12 (3) may meet in the interim and vote telephonically; 13 (4) shall report its written findings and give a copy of proposed 14 legislation and other recommendations to the president of the senate and the speaker of
01 the house of representatives before February 15, 2006 [DECEMBER 1, 2005]; and 02 (5) is terminated on February 28, 2007 [FEBRUARY 1, 2006]. 03 * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.0170(c).
