AS 14.17.460 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 18 (c) If a district cost factor set out in (a) of this section is lower than the district 19 cost factor for Chugach School District, the district cost factor shall be apportioned 20 and adjusted upward to be the same as the district cost factor for Chugach School 21 District for a portion of a borough school district that serves students in a remote 22 public school. The district cost factor shall be apportioned on the basis of the 23 percentage of the school district ADM that is enrolled in a remote public school in that 24 school district. In this subsection, "remote public school" means a public school that 25 is located in a community that is not connected to the state road system.
