00                   HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 14                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning Senate Bill No. 137, providing that an institution providing                                    
03 accommodations exempt from the provisions of the Uniform Residential Landlord and                                       
04 Tenant Act may evict tenants without resorting to court proceedings under AS 09.45.060                                  
05 - 09.45.160.                                                                                                            
06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
07       That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                              
08 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding                             
09 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of Senate Bill No. 137, providing                        
10 that an institution providing accommodations exempt from the provisions of the Uniform                                  
11 Residential Landlord and Tenant Act may evict tenants without resorting to court proceedings                            
12 under AS 09.45.060 - 09.45.160.
