00 SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 116(JUD) am S 01 "An Act relating to the liability of certain persons for certain violations of alcoholic 02 beverages laws; and providing for an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 04.16.049 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 05 (f) A person under 21 years of age does not violate this section if the person 06 enters or remains on premises licensed under this title at the request of a peace officer, 07 if the peace officer accompanies, supervises, or otherwise observes the person's entry 08 or remaining on premises, and the purpose for the entry or remaining on premises is to 09 assist in the enforcement of this section. 10 * Sec. 2. AS 04.16.060 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 11 (f) A person does not violate this section if the person performs an act 12 proscribed under this section, the person performs that act at the request of a peace 13 officer, the peace officer accompanies, supervises, or otherwise observes the person's 14 act, and the purpose of the act is to assist in the enforcement of this section.
01 * Sec. 3. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 02 read: 03 RETROACTIVITY. (a) Section 1 of this Act is retroactive to October 1, 2001. 04 (b) Section 2 of this Act is retroactive to September 27, 2004. 05 * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
