01 "An Act relating to information, advertisements, and commercials about seat belt laws."                                 
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 28.05.095 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
04            (f) Notwithstanding another provision of law, a state agency or a municipality                               
05       may not expend money for information, advertisements, or commercials about laws                                   
06       relating to seat belt requirements if the information, advertisement, or commercial                               
07       misstates the provisions of this section or otherwise states or implies that a seat belt                          
08       requirement for the driver of a motor vehicle is a primary offense.
