01 Establishing a House Special Committee on Education.

03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:                                                                       
04      WHEREAS education is one of the top priorities of the state;                                                     
05      BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives that a House Special Committee                                    
06 on Education is established to study issues relating to education; and be it                                            
07      FURTHER RESOLVED that the speaker of the House of Representatives shall                                          
08 appoint seven representatives to be members of the committee and shall designate a member                               
09 to chair the committee; and be it                                                                                       
10      FURTHER RESOLVED that the House Special Committee on Education may meet                                          
11 during and between sessions of the Twenty-Third Alaska State Legislature and is terminated                              
12 on the convening of the First Session of the Twenty-Fourth Alaska State Legislature.
