00                         HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2                                                                         
01 Establishing a House Special Committee on Education.                                                                    
02 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:                                                                         
03       WHEREAS education is one of the top priorities of the state;                                                    
04       BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives that a House Special Committee                                   
05 on Education is established to study issues relating to education; and be it                                            
06       FURTHER RESOLVED that the speaker of the House of Representatives shall                                         
07 appoint seven representatives to be members of the committee and shall designate a member                               
08 to chair the committee; and be it                                                                                       
09       FURTHER RESOLVED that the House Special Committee on Education may meet                                         
10 during and between sessions of the Twenty-Third Alaska State Legislature and is terminated                              
11 on the convening of the First Session of the Twenty-Fourth Alaska State Legislature.
