01 "An Act relating to negotiated regulation making; and providing for an effective date."                                 
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                         
04 to read:                                                                                                                
05       LEGISLATIVE INTENT.  It is the intent of this Act to repeal the provisions that                                   
06 would, on July 1, 2003, terminate the statutory authority for negotiated regulation making in                           
07 the state and certain other provisions related to this authority.                                                       
08    * Sec. 2.  Sections 6, 7, and 9, ch. 117, SLA 1998, are repealed.                                                  
09    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
