01 "An Act repealing certain sunset provisions relating to the use of water; and providing                                 
02 for an effective date."                                                                                                 
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  Section 14, ch. 100, SLA 2001, is amended to read:                                                   
05            Sec. 14.  Section  [SECTIONS] 4 [AND 8 - 10] of this Act takes [TAKE]                                
06       effect July 1, 2002.                                                                                              
07    * Sec. 2.  Sections 8 - 10, ch. 100, SLA 2001, are repealed.                                                       
08    * Sec. 3.  The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                         
09 read:                                                                                                                   
10       CONDITIONAL RETROACTIVITY.  If secs. 1 and 2 of this Act take effect after                                        
11 June 30, 2002, secs. 1 and 2 of this Act are retroactive to June 30, 2002.                                              
12    * Sec. 4.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
