00 HOUSE BILL NO. 227 01 "An Act instructing the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land 02 Surveyors to adopt minimum technical standards relating to the practice of surveying." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 08.48 is amended by adding a new section to read: 05 Sec. 08.48.267. Minimum technical standards for surveying. The board 06 shall adopt regulations relating to the practice of surveying that establish minimum 07 technical standards to ensure the achievement of no less than minimum degrees of 08 accuracy, completeness, and quality in order to assure adequate and defensible real 09 property boundary locations and other pertinent information provided by surveyors 10 under the authority of AS 08.48.171 - 08.48.295.
