01 "An Act making an appropriation to the Department of Education and Early                                                
02 Development for the foundation program; and providing for an effective date."                                           
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  FOUNDATION PROGRAM.  The sum of $6,232,000 is appropriated from                                      
05 the general fund to the Department of Education and Early Development for the fiscal year                               
06 ending June 30, 2003, for the foundation program.                                                                       
07    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2002.
