00 HOUSE BILL NO. 175 01 "An Act making an appropriation to the Alaska Industrial Development and Export 02 Authority for power projects; and providing for an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. ALASKA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AND EXPORT AUTHORITY. 05 The sum of $50,900,000 is appropriated from the Railbelt energy fund (AS 37.05.520) to the 06 Department of Community and Economic Development, Alaska Industrial Development and 07 Export Authority, to be allocated for the following purposes: 08 PURPOSE ALLOCATION 09 Payment as a grant under AS 37.05.316 to the $12,000,000 10 Cordova Electric Association for completion 11 of the Power Creek hydroelectric project 12 Payment as a grant under AS 37.05.316 to 12,500,000 13 Copper Valley Electric Association for the 14 retiring of capital construction debt
01 Acquisition, design, and construction of a power 8,400,000 02 transmission intertie between Tok and 03 Chistochina 04 Payment as a grant under AS 37.05.316 to the 4,800,000 05 Homer Electric Association for the 06 Seldovia/Port Graham/Nanwalek regional 07 power project 08 Upgrade the Anchorage-Fairbanks power 13,200,000 09 transmission intertie to 230 volts. 10 * Sec. 2. LAPSE PROVISION. The appropriation made by this Act is for capital projects, 11 lapses under AS 37.25.020, and lapses into the Railbelt energy fund (AS 37.05.520). 12 * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
