02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  Section 3, ch. 58, SLA 1997, is amended to read:                                                     
04            Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect January 1, 2004 [2002].
