01 "An Act relating to registration fees for certain leased motor vehicles."                                               
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 28.10.421 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
04            (j)  Notwithstanding the other provisions of this section, a leased motor vehicle                            
05       registered by the lessee that is not being used for a commercial purpose is subject to                            
06       the fee required for that vehicle under (b) of this section.
