01 "An Act making a temporary change to eligibility requirements for small community                                       
02 housing loans from the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation."                                                             
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                         
05 to read:                                                                                                                
06       ELIGIBILITY FOR SMALL COMMUNITY HOUSING LOANS.  Notwithstanding                                                   
07 AS 18.56.600(2), an area of a borough that qualified as a small community under that                                    
08 paragraph on December 31, 2000, but that no longer qualifies under that paragraph because of                            
09 the dissolution of a city in the borough shall, until July 1, 2006, continue to be treated as a                         
10 small community for purposes of AS 18.56.400 - 18.56.600.
