01 "An Act making an appropriation for a grant to study the feasibility of locating certain                                
02 health programs at the site of the Alaska Psychiatric Institute; and providing for an                                   
03 effective date."                                                                                                        
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  The sum of $200,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department                          
06 of Community and Economic Development for payment as a grant under AS 37.05.315 to the                                  
07 Municipality of Anchorage for a feasibility study and a needs assessment for co-locating the                            
08 Municipality of Anchorage Department of Health and Human Services and the University of                                 
09 Alaska Anchorage health sciences program at the site of replacement facilities for the Alaska                           
10 Psychiatric Institute.                                                                                                  
11    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2001.
