02 for a tourism marketing campaign; and providing for an effective date."                                                 
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 29.35.110 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
05            (b)     Use of borough revenues from a sales tax levied upon room rentals                                    
06                    for a tourism marketing campaign is not subject to (a) of this                                       
07                    section.                                                                                             
08    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
