00SENATE BILL NO. 313 01 "An Act making a special appropriation to the bond redemption subaccount from 02 the constitutional budget reserve fund under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of 03 the State of Alaska; and providing for an effective date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. (a) The sum of $400,000,000 is appropriated from the budget reserve fund 06 (art. IX, sec. 17, Constitution of the State of Alaska) to the bond redemption subaccount 07 (AS 37.13.145(e)). 08 (b) The appropriation in (a) of this section is made under art. IX, sec. 17(c), 09 Constitution of the State of Alaska. 10 (c) The appropriation in (a) of this section is to capitalize a fund and does not lapse. 11 * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect only if 12 (1) AS 37.13.145 is amended by adding a new subsection establishing a bond 13 redemption account in the earnings reserve account of the permanent fund; and 14 (2) during 2000, the voters approve a proposal to issue state general obligation
01 bonds. 02 * Sec. 3. If this Act takes effect, it takes effect on December 1, 2000.
