01 "An Act relating to the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve."                                                            
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
03    * Section 1.  The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new                                 
04 section to read:                                                                                                        
05  ALASKA CHILKAT BALD EAGLE PRESERVE.  Notwithstanding AS 38,                                                            
06 AS 41.21.611, and 41.21.617, the director of the division of lands, with the approval of the                            
07 commissioner of natural resources, may alienate Tract 1, Alaska State Land Survey 79-232,                               
08 from the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve and state ownership to correct a survey error if                            
09 the state receives Tract 2 of that survey in exchange for Tract 1.                                                      
10    * Sec. 2.  Section 1 of this Act is repealed December 31, 2000.
