01 "An Act making a special appropriation for an automated victim notification                                             
02 system; and providing for an effective date."                                                                           
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department                            
05 of Corrections for an automated victim notification system for fiscal years 1997 and 1998.                              
06    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
