01 "An Act relating to collection of settlement information in civil litigation; and                                       
02 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
04    * Section 1.  AS 09.68.130 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
05  (d)  A party to a civil case, except a civil case described in (c) of this section,                                   
06 or the party's attorney shall submit the information described in (a) of this section to                                
07 the Alaska Judicial Council.  The information must be submitted within 30 days after                                    
08 the case is resolved as to that party and on a form specified by the Alaska Judicial                                    
09 Council.                                                                                                                
10    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
