01 "An Act relating to legislative approval of the terms of state employee collective                                      
02 bargaining agreements."                                                                                                 
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 23.40.215(a) is amended to read:                                                                    
05  (a)  The monetary terms of any agreement entered into under AS 23.40.070 -                                            
06 23.40.260 are subject to funding through legislative appropriation.  Action by the                                     
07 legislature to fund any monetary term of a collective bargaining agreement                                              
08 entered into between the state and a bargaining organization representing state                                         
09 employees constitutes approval of all of the monetary terms in the contract.
