01 "An Act relating to water quality enhancement and water supply, wastewater, and                                         
02 solid waste systems grants; and providing for an effective date."                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 46.03.030(c) is amended to read:                                                                    
05  (c)  There is a water quality enhancement [PROGRAM] and water supply,                                                 
06 wastewater, and solid waste systems program [FUND] created in the department to                                       
07 carry out the purposes of this section.                                                                                 
08    * Sec. 2.  DISTRIBUTION OF UNANTICIPATED RECEIPTS.  If money accruing to the                                         
09 water quality enhancement program and water supply, wastewater, and solid waste systems                                 
10 fund is received by the State of Alaska on or after the effective date of this Act, the money                           
11 shall be deposited into the general fund.                                                                               
12    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect July 1, 1997.
