01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Parole; and providing                                            
02 for an effective date."                                                                                                 
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 44.66.010(a)(3) is amended to read:                                                                 
05   (3)  Board of Parole (AS 33.16.020) -- June 30, 2001 [1997];                                                       
06    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect July 1, 1997.
