02 program; and providing for an effective date."                                                                          
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  Section 3, ch. 94 SLA 1988, as amended by sec 1, ch. 35, SLA 1992, and as                              
05 amended by sec. 6, Executive Order 93, is amended to read:                                                              
06  Sec. 3.  AS 44.47.900 is repealed July 1, 2000 [1997].                                                              
07    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
