01 "An Act excluding certain employment by students from the definition of                                                 
02 'employment' in the state employment security laws."                                                                    
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 23.20.526(a)(4) is amended to read:                                                                 
05   (4)  service performed by an individual in the employ of the individual's                                            
06   (A)  son, daughter, or spouse;                                                                                   
07   (B)  parent or legal guardian if the individual was under the                                                       
08 age of 21 years and a full-time student during eight of the last 12 months                                              
09 and intends to resume full-time student status within the next four months;                                            
10 [,] and                                                                                                                 
11   (C)  mother or father if the service is performed by a child                                                    
12 under the age of 18 [IN THE EMPLOY OF THE CHILD'S FATHER OR                                                             
13 MOTHER];                                                                                                                
14    * Sec. 2.  This Act applies to service performed on or after the effective date of this Act.
