00SENATE BILL NO. 57 01 "An Act making supplemental appropriations for operating expenses of state 02 government for fiscal year 1995; and providing for an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. The sum of $18,000,000 is appropriated from the following sources to the 05 Department of Law to pay continuing costs for legal proceedings involving oil and gas 06 revenue due or paid to the state or state title to oil and gas land, and proceedings before state 07 and federal regulatory agencies involving the transportation of oil and gas, for the fiscal year 08 ending June 30, 1995: 09 General fund $13,500,000 10 Permanent Fund Corporation 11 receipts 4,500,000 12 * Sec. 2. The sum of $711,100 is appropriated from the mental health trust settlement 13 income account (AS 37.14.036) to the Department of Revenue to pay costs related to creation 14 of the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority (AS 47.30.011) for the fiscal year ending

01 June 30, 1995. 02 * Sec. 3. The sum of $45,100,000 is appropriated from the following sources to the disaster 03 relief fund (AS 26.23.300) for emergency repair and mitigation costs related to the 1994 04 Koyukuk flood disaster for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1995: 05 General fund $16,200,000 06 Federal receipts 28,900,000 07 * Sec. 4. The sum of $11,806,200 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department 08 of Corrections for costs related to inmate health care, community residential center beds, out- 09 of-state contract beds, correctional industries, and facilities and rehabilitation programs for the 10 fiscal year ending June 30, 1995. 11 * Sec. 5. The sum of $265,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department 12 of Public Safety, Alaska State Troopers, for additional personal services costs for the fiscal 13 year ending June 30, 1995. 14 * Sec. 6. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
