00HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 8                                                                                                  
01 Relating to consolidation of AHFC office space and to the "AHFC Anchorage                                               
02 Office Consolidation Purchase Agreement."                                                                               
03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:                                                                         
04  WHEREAS the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation has entered into an agreement                                           
05 captioned "AHFC Anchorage Office Consolidation Purchase Agreement" with the Blomfield                                   
06 Company for the construction and purchase of a new office building in Anchorage;                                        
07  BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives will not appropriate money to                                         
08 carry out the "AHFC Anchorage Office Consolidation Purchase Agreement" executed between                                 
09 the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation and the Blomfield Company on November 15, 1994;                                  
10 and be it                                                                                                               
11  FURTHER RESOLVED that the House of Representatives requests the Alaska                                                 
12 Housing Finance Corporation to terminate the purchase agreement immediately, to take all                                
13 prudent actions to minimize costs associated with termination of the purchase agreement, and                            
14 to cease all actions related to consolidating its offices.                                                              

01  COPIES of this resolution shall be sent to the Board of Directors of the Alaska                                        
02 Housing Finance Corporation.
