01 "An Act relating to the maximum speed limit on the Glenn Highway between                                                
02 Anchorage and the George Parks Highway."                                                                                
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 19.10.070 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                            
05  (b)  Notwithstanding (a) of this section, AS 19.10.072, and AS 28.05.011, the                                         
06 department shall establish the maximum speed limit, not to exceed 65 miles per hour,                                    
07 for the portion of the Glenn Highway between the McCrary Street overpass in                                             
08 Anchorage and the junction with the George Parks Highway at milepost 35.
