02 and providing for an effective date."                                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 08.03.010(c)(19) is amended to read:                                                                 
05   (19)  Board of Examiners in Optometry (AS 08.72.010) -- June 30, 2001                                              
06 [1996];                                                                                                                 
07    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
