00HOUSE BILL NO. 114 01 "An Act making appropriations to the Department of Education for support of 02 kindergarten, primary, and secondary education, for community schools programs, 03 and for school construction debt retirement; and providing for an effective date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. PURPOSE. It is the purpose of this Act to fund the public school foundation 06 program at an instructional unit value of $61,000, as provided under AS 14.17.056. 07 * Sec. 2. (a) The sum of $80,322,400 is appropriated from the general fund to the Alaska 10 debt retirement fund (AS 37.15.011). 11 (b) The sum of $80,322,400 is appropriated from the Alaska debt retirement fund 12 (AS 37.15.011) to the Department of Education for state aid for costs of school construction 13 under AS 14.11.100. 14 * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect July 1, 1995.
