01 "An Act relating to confidentiality of certain records of the permanent fund                                            
02 dividend program."                                                                                                      
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 43.23 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                   
05  Sec. 43.23.017.  CONFIDENTIALITY OF CERTAIN RECORDS.  (a)                                                             
06 Personal information collected by the department under this chapter is confidential and                                 
07 may be used only to carry out the provisions of this chapter, except that the                                           
08 department shall make information available                                                                             
09   (1)  upon court order; or                                                                                            
10   (2)  to the court system for use in compiling jury lists.                                                            
11  (b)  In this section, "personal information" has the meaning given in                                                 
12 AS 44.99.350.
