00SENATE BILL NO. 63 01 "An Act making special appropriations to the Department of Natural Resources 02 for the purchase of the inholdings of the Seldovia Native Association and the 03 Cook Inlet Region, Inc., and the timber rights of the Timber Trading Company, 04 within the Kachemak Bay State Park; and providing for an effective date." 05 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 06 * Section 1. LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS. (a) The legislature finds that the Kachemak Bay 07 State Park is an important scenic and recreational area and that the inholdings within the park, 08 if developed, would seriously compromise the integrity of the existing park land. 01 Exxon Valdez oil spill. 02 * Sec. 2.
